Since its beginnings in the region in the 1980s, Pratt & Whitney has established a commercial aircraft engine overhaul facility and Center of Excellence for the PW4000 engine overhaul in Singapore. This facility will also be the first engine center to service the PW1500G engine, the PurePower ® variant that will power the Bombardier CSeries aircraft. Combustor Airmotive Services Pte Ltd, a joint venturebetween Pratt & Whitney and SIA Engineering Company,specializes in the repair and overhaul of combustion chambers, fuel nozzles, low pressure turbine ducts, highpressure turbine support fuel nozzle guides.
