at New Delhi
Miss Supriya Mundhe represented the SPPU at the Republic Day celebrations held at

Activities for Qualitative Development of Teachers
Teachers are encouraged to participate in the courses like: Orientation, Refresher, Short
term, Seminar, Conference, and Workshop etc.
Economic aid is provided to teachers for publication of quality research papers in reputed
research journals
Social activities
A special Winter NCC Camp was organized in the village Nimgaon Jali. Students and
staff participated in the following activities in the camp: Coconut and rain tree plantations,
creation of awareness about cleanliness among the villagers, counseling of the villagers
about the social evils like Dowry, Female infanticide, Illiteracy, etc.
The admitted students are covered under various insurance plans.
Teacher-student combines activities:
Road safety drive was organized from 01 August 2013 to 31 December 2013, in order to
create awareness among students regarding road safety measures
Rakshabandhan programme was organized for the special students at Babhaleshwar school
on 20/08/14
A blood donation camp was jointly organized by PMT and NSS Unit of our college. 64
volunteers donated blood.
Aids awareness week was organized from 01 December to 07 December 2013.
Other special activities:
Polyhouse: The College has a spacious polyhouse. Capsicum is grown in this polyhouse. It
is done to propagate the importance of polyhouse in agriculture. The college earns good
amount of revenue from selling the product.
Virtual class room: The College has a virtual classroom. Expert lectures by various
persons and agencies are made available to the audience. The beneficiaries are the
students, local farmers, and employees from other institutes.
The college annual magazine „Pravaratarang‟ has won the district level award.
