Within twelve days, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. This special holiday is a time to express gratitude to God and to our loved ones for their goodness to us. Also, Thanksgiv-ing begins the holiday season. The Church will begin the season of Advent on December 3. With this in mind, this is an excellent time and opportunity to renew our spiritual life by reawakening a spirit of gratitude and of joyful expecta-tion for the celebration of the birth of our Savior. This is best accomplished through prayer.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved! Grant, that I may love You ever more generously and be ever ready to sacrifice all to Your love. Through the wound in your Sacred Heart pour your blessings upon my loved ones and me. Forgive my sins and establish your kingdom in my heart. Teach me to transform my actions into acts of love so that after having known and loved the Sacred Heart of Je-sus here below, by the light of faith, I may behold him face to face in all his glory and love you in heaven for eternity.Amen.

También, el Dia de Acción de Gracias comienza la temporada festiva. La Iglesia comienza la temporada de Adviento el 3 de diciembre. Con esto en mente, es un excelente momento y oportunidad para renovar nuestra vida espiritual despertando un espíritu de gratitud y una expectativa alegre de la celebración del nacimiento de nuestro Salvador. Esto se logra mejor a través de la oración.
¡Que el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús sea venerado! Concédeme, que yo pueda amarte cada vez más abundantemente y estar siem-pre listo a sacrificarlo todo por Tu amor. One-year enrollment Cards are now available in the office for dona-tions of $2 or $5. Those enrolled and the person enrolling someone is remember by the Bishop and the CEF Director at a monthly Mass and in the daily prayers and sacrifices of our Diocesan seminarians and the nuns at the monastery of St. Clare in Brenham. Your donations are used to help educate the Diocesan seminarians. Each year a check is present to the Bishop of Austin for this reason. Are you wanting to learn more about our faith? Are you just sitting in your car waiting for your kids to get out of religious education classes? Take that leap of faith because we have something for you. Classes will be offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in English with Anna Lara in the Knights of Columbus room (PAC301) and in Spanish with Art Lara in room 208 in the Education building.
On Sundays, we will have a Spanish session at 9:45 a.m. in room 208 of the Education Building.
