• A regional public transportation agency;
• The 2nd largest transit agency in Colorado;
• Service Area covers State Hwy 82 and the I-70 corridor to Rifle;
• We carry an average of 4.85 million passengers annually.
WHAT IS VelociWHAT IS VelociRFTARFTA??• VelociRFTA is the name given to our BRT, or Bus Rapid Transit,
project which began in Nov 2008• VelociRFTA will provide service along the Hwy 82 Corridor from
Glenwood Springs to Aspen.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSTECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
• AVL & other data communications between all components of the system will be transmitted over a new data network– This new network will be designed and installed as a part of
this project.
• Vendor should evaluate and propose the optimal solution for integrating the AVL/CAD system with current voice communications
• Integration with the existing voice communication system shall be submitted as an option.
