Notes From The Director The mission of the Precast Concrete Association of New York is to promote and edu-
cate construction industry stakeholders on the many benefits of precast concrete
products. Our membership includes producers, suppliers of equipment and services,
and professionals, who’s support of this association is critical to our mission. Accord-
ingly, we are publishing our first annual Buyer’s Guide as a reference to the many
products and services provided by our members.
The guide includes a product matrix for precast producers and associates as a quick
reference to the products and services provided. We are proud to report that all of the
full producer member facilities are either NPCA or PCI certified. The wastewater
products listed by our Septic Tank Producer members have all been tested and veri-
fied by licensed professional engineers to meet the structural and watertighness criteria set by the PCANY Cer-
tification Program for Water and Wastewater Products.
Reflecting on 2014, it has been an honor and a pleasure to represent the members of this organization and I
look forward to working with producers, associates, professionals, and our promotional partners through 2015
and beyond. While we have changed the look somewhat, we have continued to produce a quality newsletter
that highlights the accomplishments of our members. We have also met with NYSDOT and are working to re-
solve issues in a cooperative and productive manner.
We are going to start 2015 off with a new email address. We are phasing out the AOL account and replacing it
with [email protected]. Along with the new email, we will be rebuilding and reorganizing our email database
and contact list. We are also developing a table top display and plan to exhibit at more industry functions.
