Factory Solutions TM is a state of art, browser based software package that facilitates and documents change management. One of the many features, is the ability to make all your visuals available in a database organized around your facility. Factory Solutions TM allows you to communicate to PFS any changes associated with visuals and procedures, allowing us to create an updated version within 72 hours. The visual's history of change is recorded within Factory Solutions TM, leaving an electronic “paper trail” allowing you to satisfy OSHA requirements of documentation and management of change. Factory Solutions TM is the winner of Compliance Magazine's "Commitment to Worker Safety Award" 2003.

PFS has been assisting clients in preventing injuries and complying with “The Control Of Hazardous Energy” Standard 1910.147 for over 14 years. Of all the requirements, machine specific lockout procedures is one of the most difficult to initially meet and continually sustain. With our extensive database of industry-specific lockout procedure libraries we will customize your procedures to meet your organization's needs. Once a procedure library is defined, PFS technicians will survey your equipment to identify all potential hazardous energy sources. PFS will produce and install machine-specific visual placards. Each placard is bar coded making it readily retrievable and easily updated as necessary.

So you have machine specific lockout procedures in place and there is “NO WAY” the Plant Manager will authorize all new procedures and placards !!

Cost Effective Solution:

PFS can provide a wall to wall machine specific lockout procedures audit, recording data using state of the art PC tablet technology. This will help you verify compliance with your own company standards and OSHA. If non-conformances are found, PFS will discuss the findings with you and provide a cost effective quote to return those machines to compliance. For equipment found to be in compliance, digital photos of your procedures will be taken and entered into the Factory Solutions Software and only retrieved and drawn in the graphics package when a need or change occurs.

This service allows you to upgrade your existing program with PFS bar coded lockout placards drawn to your standards. Moving forward, you will have data available to you while on the plant floor and a quick, cost effective, change management process for your machine specific lockout procedures and employee re-training.


Visual signage is developed for each location where hazards are likely to be present. These placards contain technical information, PPE requirements, lockout protocols, and other safety procedures required to comply with OSHA regulations. Visual instruction, training, and change management are all documented within Premier, Inc.'s Factory Solutions TM system.

Temporary Full Time Assistance:

If your Company is in the ramp up stage of a new manufacturing facility or process, or if you or your safety manager is currently overwhelmed, PFS can provide a temporary, full time safety professional to help build or implement existing Company safety procedures and assist in training employees.

Continuous Part Time Safety Services:

PFS provides a comprehensive on-site safety compliance service to assist small and mid size manufacturing companies in meeting their State and Federal OSHA regulatory requirements. These efforts will additionally reduce the risk of employee injury and workers’ compensation costs.
