A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approval is not required.The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Lagotti Romagnoli, Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Cirnechi dell'Etna, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Finnish Spitz, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs, and Norrbottenspets (Misc.).At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds.

Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog EntriesVIZSLAS, BORZOIS, GREATER SWISS MOUNTAIN DOGS & STANDARD SCHNAUZERS (SUNDAY)
NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. Stud Dog only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed (Variety) Competition, or some other Non-Regular Class. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard for its breed. NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - Same as the Stud Dog, except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed or Variety by virtue of having won these classes.
VIZSLAS, BORZOIS & STANDARD SCHNAUZERS (SUNDAY)NR2.09300. Brace Class - (two dogs of the same breed or variety and must have at least one common owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers.) - The dogs comprising a Brace MUST be named at time of entry. If a dog which is to be part of a Brace is not entered in any of the Regular Classes or for Best of Breed Competition, it must be entered for “Brace Class Only”. In making entries for “Brace Class Only”, full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in a Regular Class or for Best of Breed Competition and entered as a part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes, “Brace Class”. If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, “Brace No. 1”, “Brace No. 2”, etc.
STANDARD SCHNAUZERS (SUNDAY)NR2.17700. Parade of Champions & Titleholders - There will be a non-competitive parade for dogs that are AKC Titleholders of Record. Each entrant will be awarded a Rosette imprinted with the dog's name in gold leaf. Dogs entered in this parade need not be entered in any other class. Entry fee is $15.00.

The Working Sweepstakes Classes honor those dogs that compete in performance events. Dogs eligible to compete in these classes are any Belgian Malinois who is 6 months or over and that has earned a performance title that meets the requirements for the ABMC Register of Merit (ROM). Entry in a Regular Class is not required. The Working Sweepstakes will be divided by Sex. Spayed bitches and neutered dogs are eligible to compete. A copy of at least one qualifying title certificate must accompany the entry form for each dog. If there is no copy of a performance certificate accompanying the entry, the dog will not be entered in the Working Sweepstakes class. Winners from the bitch and the dog classes will compete for Best in Working Sweepstakes with the Opposite Sex Winner being awarded Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Working Sweepstakes. The Working Sweepstakes Classes honor those dogs that compete in performance events. Dogs eligible to compete in these classes are any Belgian Malinois who is 6 months or over and that has earned a performance title that meets the requirements for the ABMC Register of Merit (ROM). Entry in a Regular Class is not required. The Working Sweepstakes will be divided by Sex. Spayed bitches and neutered dogs are eligible to compete. A copy of at least one qualifying title certificate must accompany the entry form for each dog. If there is no copy of a performance certificate accompanying the entry, the dog will not be entered in the Working Sweepstakes class. Winners from the bitch and the dog classes will compete for Best in Working Sweepstakes with the Opposite Sex Winner being awarded Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Working Sweepstakes. Mail All Entries With Fees to MB-F, Inc., Superintendent, P.O. Box 22107, Greensboro, North Carolina 27420. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please verify your entry with the MB-F Office in North Carolina.

Fax fee: $4.50 per entry in addition to entry fee. All credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through the Fax program and are charged the $4.50 administrative fee. This Fax Fee is subject to change without notice.
Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN/FOREIGN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to either use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made.
An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required for each first entry and $3.00 each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. An AKC Event Service Fee of $2.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Open Show. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)
No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred
from competition by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries.
An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no
entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.Each Owner and Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at a show is bound by the Certification
and Agreement on the front and back of the entry form regardless of who may have completed & submitted the entry form.As specified in Chapter 12, Section 4 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, information contained on the entry form is
required to be published in the club’s show catalog. This information is also subject to publication in other media.Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their
dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring
before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent’s Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.
No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted.

MOTOR HOME/TRAILER RESERVATION NOTICEPARKING SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM WEDNESDAY AT 2:00 P.M.
Overnight reservations will be available at a fee of $25.00 per space per night or $100.00 for 5 nights. All reservations will be in assigned spaces and only ONE vehicle permitted per space. A tow unit (eg: cube van and a trailer) is considered one vehicle. All units must be self-contained. No water, electric or sewer hookups will be available. No waste or grey water is to be discharged onto the ground. Fees to be paid directly to the provider at time of service. NO CONES OR SIMILAR MEANS ALLOWED TO RESERVE SPACES.Exhibitors will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their space. Anyone who does not leave their space in the same condition as when they arrived will be subject to forfeiture of future parking spaces. Spaces will be assigned in the order of receipt of their fee and Reservation Application. A confirmation will be sent for each reservation which will indicate the parking space assigned to that Reservation Application. This confirmation is the admission ticket to the parking area and must be presented upon arrival at the event grounds. PARKING SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL LIKELY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENTS. SHOULD SPACES BE AVAILABLE, THE PARKING FEE IS AN ADDITIONAL $10.00 PER SPACE PER NIGHT. If you wish to park next to a particular party, the Reservation Applications must be received in the same envelope.Overnight reservations are a privilege extended by the Hunt Country Cluster and Historic Long Branch Plantation. Any arguing, abusive language, or failure to follow the rules or the direction of officials on duty will cause the PERMANENT forfeiture of all parking privileges without refund of fee(s) paid and the possibility of discipline by the Event Committee. Parking is strictly at the exhibitor’s risk. Dump out and water refill will be available during the shows. Check with clubs for details.
