Description:
This activity is intended to guide orthopaedic surgeons through the process of the self– assessment component of ABOS Maintenance of Certification (MOC). The program uses pre-tests to identify areas in need of further learning, provides self-study curriculum to bridge these gaps, employs a post-test to evaluate the effectiveness of the self-study and finally determines if alternate learning methods such as clinic-based learning are needed. As a result of participation in the activity, registrants will have fulfilled a portion of their requirements for self assessment examination credits for the ABOS MOC.
