Preparing For Kindergarten Success:Kindergarten Orientation Procedures with Mrs.
Robertson2012
Meet Mrs. Robertson
My name is Mallory Robertson and this is my second year teaching Kindergarten at Willard
North. I graduated from Evangel University in 2010 with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary
Education. I am currently working on attaining my Masters Degree from William Woods University in
Educational Administration.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for over a year now. In my spare time I enjoy
spending time with my amazing family and friends, playing golf, reading, and just relaxing
with a good cup of coffee.
Breakfast
Arrive as early as 8:20 a.m. Pay for meals by sending check or cash
to the classroom in the morning. Breakfast prices are $1.00 (full price
unless you qualify for a reduced program) and an extra milk is $0.35.
Conferences
Parent teacher conferences will be held at the end of the first quarter.
If you would like to have a conference at any other time to discuss your child’s progress, please contact your child’s teacher and she will be happy to schedule one.
All teachers have an open door policy and it is important we have open communication with you about your child’s progress.
Dismissal
School is dismissed at 3:00 on Monday and 3:30 Tuesday through Friday.
At Meet the Teacher you will have the opportunity to let your child’s teacher know how your child will be going home (car, bus, walk or Tiger Tales).
If it is necessary for your child to ride home with someone who does not normally pick them up or get home in a different way, a written note must be provided for the office.
Dismissal
Parents who will be picking their child up by car: Students will be picked up at the South doors
unless they have a sibling in 2nd grade or above. These students will be picked up at the East doors.
Write your child’s name on a pick up card (this will be given to you at Meet the Teacher) and hang it from your rear view mirror so that the teachers can read it.
You will be prompted to pull forward to a certain spot, and your child will be put in the car for you.
Lunch
Lunches (like breakfast) should be paid for by bringing cash or check to the classroom.
Students will have 25 minutes to eat lunch.
Lunch prices are $1.85 (full price unless you qualify for the reduced price.) Extra milk is also $.35.
