1. Consider what you do and why !

Know and develop your skills, competences and interests –

and especially the value you can bring to a job,

the needs you can fulfill and the difference you can make.

• Do a thorough skills analysis both your hard core skills and your softer skills

• Find out which skills you would like to develop and do it.

• Consider when you are most in flow

• Consider what topics or areas you find most interesting to work with

And do this continously throughout your research years.

• Use your network to get insights and an understanding of different options

consultancy firms value, what skills are valued as ?

• Do ”coffee meetings” to explore companies, their needs and their atmosphere

• Consider who is doing something you would like to do

• Read about peoples’ career paths on Linkedin

• Talk to companies/alumni at fairs and events
