PREPOSITIONS OF PLACES
• Prepositions can be used to show • where something is located • When translating To Be + Preposition in English (e.g. The dog is next to the tree), the verb to be (in Its correct form) is used before the preposition of place. (E.g. The dog is next to the tree).
BEHIND NEXT TO
-She could feel Jace standing behind her.
-We thought there might be a cellar door behind the trash bin.
Next to the old-fashioned black telephone was a globe-He was sitting next to Jace, across from Clary, and avoiding looking at her.
IN/ON/AT

She's at the library. - the emphasis is on the her location and the type of place she has gone to.She's in the library. - the emphasis is on the type of building she is in.
