PRESENT CONTINUOUS

• We form present continuous using

am is are and the –ing form

of the verb going working playing

I am working on a proyect.

The children are playing in the garden.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

• We make negative sentences adding

NOT am not I’m not is not isn’t are not aren’t and going working playing

I’m not working on a proyect.

The children aren’t playing in the garden.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

• We make questions like this:

Yes, I am.

No, they aren’t.

Is he cooking? No, he isn’t cooking. He’s cleaning. Are they doing homework? No, they aren’t doing homework. They are playing. Is she using her computer? No, she isn’t using her

computer. She’s reading a book.
