Karate Taiken Program

Okinawa, the birthplace of karate. Discover and experience karate from various

angles through our “Karate Taiken Program”. Taiken means experience in Japanese.

This program is based on “Watch, Know and Experience” and is available at the

Okinawa Karate Kaikan.

Through this program, discover the spirituality and courtesy of karate, values that are

essential for all people, regardless of their age.

We, the Okinawa Karate Kaikan and the Okinawa Dento Karatedo Shinkokai, will

strive to create a memorable and wonderful program for your group.

Contents:

“Karate Taiken Program” - 120 minutes

1. Gathering and preparation (10 mins.)

2. Lecture: The charms of karate and

human resource development through

karate (15 mins.)

3. Masters demonstration (20 mins.)

4. Karate training session (60 mins.)

5. Commemorative photo (5 mins.)

6. Dissolution and transfer (10 mins.)

Number of people: 20 up to 150

Fee (per person):

20~29 persons: 4,500 yen

30~99 persons: 3500 yen

100~150 persons: 3000 yen

Karate uniform rental (per person):

1,000 yen (rental and cleaning included)

Note: the Okinawa Karate Kaikan can lend up

to 40 uniforms. For larger groups, a different

company will be contracted.

This program is ideal for school trip experiential learning and MICE experiential programs, etc.
