• We Use the Present continuous to say that we are in the process of doing a longer action which is in progress; however, we might not be doing it at this exact second.

Sometime, speakers use the
present continuous to indicate that
something will not happen in the
near future.
Examples.
• I am not going to the party tonight.
• Is he visiting his parents next weekend?
• Isn’t he coming with us tonight?
continuous present tense • the structure of the present continuous in English is simple:

Construction of the gerund.
• As a general rule to form the English gerund-ing is added.
Although we have to take into account some considerations:

• Is replaced by the ending-ie-ying.

• Denial with full verbs (ie not modal and auxiliary) is very simple:
