About Us
Cortland soccer is based upon hard work and dedicated girls that turn into family. Traditions
are passed down as each season starts up again.
Team History
The Cortland Women’s Soccer team was founded in 1978. The team won the Women’s National Soccer Championship in 1980 and the NCAA Division III Championship in 1992. In 2012 the team won it’s first SUNYAC tournament since 1991.

Coaching Staff
• Heidi Woodcock – Head Coach• Woodcock is serving her 11th season as head
coach. She has a career record of 108-65-31 going into this Fall season. She is a 2002 graduate from Nazareth College where she earned a bachelors degree in psychology and was a starting center defender. She earned her masters in sports science from the United States Sports Academy in 2005.
