European imports of cashew nuts into Europe increased annually by an average rate of 17% in value in the last five years and reached €1.3 billion.The leading developing country supplier of cashew nuts to Europe is Vietnam, followed by India. The Netherlands is the third largest supplier of re-exported cashews.
