BROAD PROCESS OF GIS BASED PLANNING
• Study the Mission Antyoday data.
• Study the GP Area from Bhuvan Portal using different thematic layers.
• Planning –NRM/Non-NRM in saturation mode
• Plot the Plan using Google Earth Pro and save as .kmz• Plot the Plan using Google Earth Pro and save as .kmz
• Field verification and Collection of attribute.
• Create the .csv file.
• Enter the Plans in NREGASoft (D24 /D29) then verify and approve.
• Plot the Plan using Google Earth Pro and save as .kml
• Upload the .kml then verify and approve.
REMEMBER DURING .KML/.KMZ FILE PREPARATION

Steps for GIS Based PlanUsing MS Excel Create Financial Year Wise NRM and Non NRM .csv files (Only this format will be followed).
Open Google Earth Pro – Right Click on “Temporary Places” – Add Folder as “GP Name_Block_District Name_State Name” - Add Folder as ‘GP Boundary’ under ‘GP Name_Block_District Name_State Name’ and Draw the GP Boundary.
Right Click on ‘GP Name_Block_District Name_State Name’ – Add Folder as ‘Proposed Activity’ –Right Click on Proposed Activity Add Folder as ‘FY (2019-20)’ - Right Click on FY (2019-20) Add Folder as ‘NRM’- Right Click on FY (2019-20) Add Folder as ‘Non NRM’ – As per Scheme Type Create Sub Folders under NRM and Non NRM like Plantation, Rural Connectivity Irrigation Channel, Solid Waste Management etc. **Do the Same for FY (2020-21) and FY (2021-22)
NB: During the Preparation of .kmz – Create a Folder as Bhuvan Maps under ‘GP Name_Block_District Name_State Name’ and add all the Maps under this Folder

GIS Based Plan for FY 2019-20 OnwardsMark all the schemes using Point / Line/ Polygon with the help of these reference points – Fill the attributes for Line and Polygons (Copy from Point then Paste in Description Portion) - Select all the Schemes using Shift key – Drag and Drop under the Targeted Folder – Delete the .csv layer from Google Earth - Click on Save Place As - Save the .kml as ‘GP Name_Block_District Name_State Name’.
To get the GP Boundary We may take help from District wise NRDMS Cell. We may have GP/Block/District Map with GP Boundary. We can merge individual cadastral Maps to get GP Boundary.

We can merge individual cadastral Maps to get GP Boundary. We can get from some Web portal like Bhuvan, ISGPP, Usharmukti etc. Using GPS. Can Identify and mark from Google Earth itself referring some land
marks and with the help of local representatives.

UPLOAD THE .KML FILES FROM PO LOGIN
• Go to Data Entry Login Page
• Login as Program Officer
• Click on Upload .Kml file under D29: GIS Base Planning
• Select GP Name (ONLY FREEZED GPs WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE OPTIONS)• Select GP Name (ONLY FREEZED GPs WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE OPTIONS)
• After selection of GP a list of Check Boxes will appear along with the link of previously uploaded .Kml file (If already uploaded). Please confirm everything and upload the new .Kml file.
• After successful uploading of the new .Kml file a confirmation will be received as “Information Successfully Inserted to MIS”
VERIFICATION OF .KML FILE AT ADMINISTRATOR AT PROGRAM OFFICER LEVEL
• Go to Data Entry Login Page
• Login as Administrator at Program Officer
• Verify “GP GIS Plan” under Assign Role to Staff
• Select District – Block – GP and Press “Show”
• A new window will appear with some check Box to validate the quality of work and a link of the newly uploaded .Kml file to download and view the same.
• The checklist should be properly checked to ensure that it is as per the standard and then SUBMIT.
• After successful submission, a confirmation will be received as “Data Save Successfully”
VERIFICATION OF .KML FILE AT DPC LOGIN USER LEVEL
• Go to Data Entry Login Page
• Login as DPC Login User
• Verify GP GIS Plan Under D21:GIS Base Planning
• Select District – Block – GP and Press “Show”• Select District – Block – GP and Press “Show”
• A new window will appear with some check Box to validate the quality of work with a link of the newly uploaded .Kml file and a history, of Upload by GP/PO and Verified by PO Admin.
• The checklist should be properly checked to ensure that it is as per the standard and then SUBMIT.
• After successful submission, a confirmation will be received as “Data Save Successfully”
