In 2011 – 2012 years, a group of Kyiv intellectuals discusses and creates the intellectual communicative platform - Foundation For Future http://f4f.com.ua/


Foundation For Future project has offered to organize and to hold a number of meetings and discussions oriented to production of support mechanisms and Ukraine’s intellectual capital development at the beginning of 2013.

The First international expert session “How to make intelligence the resource for Ukraine’s development” was held with the support of Cabinet of Ministers on June 27-28, 2013 http://intellect4ukraine.wordpress.com/



More than 100 experts from different countries were disputing about the development of Ukraine’s intellectual capital and it’s effective usage for Ukraine’s future.

Subsequent to the results of expert session were concluded general decisions:

- to support the development of intellect through the grant competitions- to create the charitable fund for a competition organization- to create the Research Institute for an intellectual supply of Fund’s activity



The projects Competition for receiving grant support of the Ukraine’s Future Foundation will start on the 4th of October, 2013

The program report of the Competition Commission and the announcement of call for proposals by the Secretariat will be published on the Competitions’ web-resources grants.future-ukraine.org.ua and Foundations’ one future-ukraine.org.ua


The purpose of the Foundation’s competition process in 2013 is to support projects aimed at improving and creating intellectual capital of Ukraine and Ukraine's entry into the global intellectual processes.

The basic vector of all the competitions is their focus in terms of the future of the country and the world.


The main priority themes of the competition in 2013:

"Ukraine's Future in a Changing World""The Future of Cities and Settlement Systems""New Thinking for a New World""Education of the Future""Society of the Future, and other Values""Health and Longevity""Contemporary Art“

The priorities and the themes of Contest 2013 will be additionally specified in the Program Report of the Contest Commission.


-Competition applications may contain a request for the

grant of any justified amount in the range of UAH 100,000

up to UAH 8,000,000

-The projects submitted to the competition shall be

implemented in a period of not more than 3 years.

- Priority support will be given to the projects demonstrating the ability of sustainable development after the completion of financing by the Foundation.


Selection and approval of the list of projects allowed for the Competition

Providing advice to the applicants, receipt and registration of the competition applications

Announcement of the CompetitionPublication of the Program Report of the Competition Committee

Publication of the Requirements for Holding Project Competitions for Grant Support of the Fund


Holding public defense of the projects allowed for the Competition

Review of the projects allowed for the Competition

Submitting the applications allowed for the Competition in full format


Establishment of contractual relations with the authors of the winning projects

Start of the project implementation Publication of the final report

Publication of the Competition results and the award ceremony for the winners of the annual competition
