GEOGRAPHY
The area of swat valley is 10,360 sq.kms.
The normal temperature is maximum 21.11°C and minimum 7.22°C.
Tourist season is all over the year.
The main town of the swat valley is Saidu Sharif
The distance from Swat to Peshawar is 160 KMs and the distance from Islamabad to swat is 250 KMs.
The valley of Swat is located in the middle of foothills of Hindukush mountain range.

Lime stone is also found in swat it is made up of calcium carbonate mix with impurities . They are used for manufacturing cement and lime, used in bleaching powder, glass industry, soap, paint, also used filler and as ingredient in chemical process etc.

A valuable green color granite is mostly found in Saidu. MALAKAND Granite is well known .
