Highly efficient gas turbines SGT-8000H
• The gas turbine SGT-8000H series used in a combined-cycle power plant can help achieve up to 60.75% net efficiency (world-record) and up to 5% higher return on investment compared to a smaller F-class engine.
• The increase in efficiency is made possible by the SGT-8000H’s improved combustion and blade-cooling systems.
• Advanced gas turbine and combined cycle technology contribute to lower emissions, fuel consumption and lifecycle costs.
• The SGT-8000H series is No.1 in advanced gas turbine frames and has gained a 35% average market share in units over the last 3 years (FY10-12).
• So far, Siemens has already sold 20 units of the SGT-8000H series on the global markets.
