Business Strategies of Bangladesh and U.S.

Page 2: Presentation sm comp

• Initially known as East Pakistan, Bangladesh is a poor country featuring negative trade balance since its independence in 1971. The country’s economy experienced vast improvement in the 1990s. However, foreign trade in South Asian region still is an area of concern.

• The United States of America is the only superpower in the world today. Various international organizations like the UN, World Bank, IMF are directly influenced by US policies. The affairs of most countries in the world are also more or less influenced by Washington. The influence of the US is all pervasive encompassing the economic, political and security related issues that concern most countries of the world.
