1. TREND REPORT Tendere produces strategic information (Creative & Consumer Trends) for the FASHION INDUSTRY (textile, women, men, young and children apparel); INTERIOR DESIGN (decoration, bed and bath textile); INDUSTRIAL DESIGN and ARCHITECTURE.
The research is developed from the social and cultural realities of the South (Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Oceania), on demand for your company, taking into account your company’s costumer target and its productive reality.

2. MARKET RESEARCH Tendere knows the challenges of contemporary market and offers its research expertise in order to prepare its clients for future challenges.
The studies of consumer behavior are based on psychological, social, cultural, anthropological and aesthetic factors. These lead to understand how consumers deal with aspects of perception, motivation, memory, training and identification of attitudes, lifestyle etc.. and are the key information to check how the decision-making process of consumption and acquisition (purchase) take place in order to analyze the target market on realistic basis.
• Founded as a start up in 2011 from the union of two professionals with complementary backgrounds and
experiences, Tendere researches Trends in and to the Southern Hemisphere (Latin America, Sub-Saharan
Africa and Oceania);
• Tendere also works on adapting northern hemisphere products to the southern hemisphere – a
‘tropicalization’ – as well as developing product lines targeting Brazil and Latin America consumption
culture.

Patricia Sant’Anna
PhD in Art History, Master in Social Anthropology and Bachelor of Social Sciences at UNICAMP. She is specialized in Museology (USP) and participated in the Teacher Training Program of Research in the Humanities at CEBRAP (Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning). She is the founder and research leader of the Art, Design and Fashion Studies Group (UNICAMP). She was responsible for national diagnosis on the fashion industry (National Plan of Culture, Ministry of Culture). She has published journal articles, book chapters and conference proceedings on fashion and has been interviewed by newspapers of nationwide scope. She is a Professor on Fashion Studies and Design Studies at PUC (Catholic University of Campinas), and at SENAC (National Service for Commerce).
André Barros
Architect and Urban Planner at UNICAMP. He has extensive research experience and has published in the areas of Fashion, Clothing, Design and Architecture. He has worked with Preservation and Conservation of Urban Architecture, Interior Design, Product Development in Leather Footwear chain and Fashion Trends Survey applied to environment promotional Jewellery Design and Jewellery. He is a founder-researcher of the Group of Studies in Art, Design and Fashion (Unicamp). He currently works as Interior Designer and he is teacher on Design Trends at SENAC (National Service for Commerce).

founders and researchers background.
• Most of Tendere’s researchers are either former students
or graduate students from institutes and colleges of
education at Unicamp. All members are Brazilian and some
have wide international experience.
