• Serving over 800,000 of Los Angeles County’s low –income and vulnerable residents.
• Enabling legislation required the creation of committees for member advocates (Regional Community advisory Committees)

to implement a family premium to save Healthy
Kids Insurance Program.
As result of this effort:• The Healthy Kids Insurance Program was
saved.• 71% of membership retained.

• Collaborate with L.A. Care’s Health Educators(MPH) to conduct trainings at Regional Community Advisory meetings, local community based organizations and at L.A. Cares Family Resource Centers(2)
