– All employees wear name tags– Supervisors and Managers’ photo’s & contact

information is displayed for public – Frontline staff trained on Batho-pele and customer

care– Staff participated in the Ministers’ Service Delivery

Relationship and Local Community

– 20 National Youth Services (NYS) Participants appointed and paid a R2000 p/m stipend

– 6 of the NYS participants employed as permanent employee in the Department

– 4 Interns placed in the provincial office for mentoring purposes, R3000 x 12 months

– 1of the 4 interns also appointed in a permanent position in the Department.

– Campaigns and imbizos attended

– Attend monthly JCPSC’s (Justice Crime Prevention and Safety Cluster) meetings

– Participate in all Departments Campaigns and Imbizos to reach communities in need of DHA services

– Regular communication with local municipality for service delivery

– Municipalities purchased films for Grade 12 ID campaign

– In contact with IEC and Premiers Office and other departments
