The Year ofBeholding and Walking in

the Divine Life and Blessings of Grace


At sundown on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, the children of Israel will

recognize the beginning of their new year 5775. This is the day know as Rosh

Hashanah, the head of the year. They recognize this as the anniversary of the

first day of creation. It is celebrated throughout all the land with the blowing

of the shofar which symbolizes the breath of Yahweh in the creation event.


For centuries, Hebrew sages and scholars have looked to the Torah to

determine how it relates to the seasons they were exiting and entering. They recognized that the wisdom contained

within the sacred text could direct them if they only applied it properly.

Each season we traverse through corresponds to a ten year cycle within the Hebrew calendar. Within a cycle, a unique facet is emphasized each year. Collectively, these facets make up the

context for the entire season.


Each facet is represented by the meaning of the Hebrew letter which corresponds to the numeric value of the year. This feature is

available to any person who considers what the original Hebrew language has to say on

the matter. This is not divination or numerology by any stretch of the

imagination. It is a process involving looking at the numeric value of the year, its

corresponding Hebrew letters, and how and where the words they represent appear in

scripture.

This year the letters we focus upon are Ayin and

Hei.

Numerical Values…

Each of the 22 Hebrew letters has an assigned numerical value. These values can give us an actual word or just the letter pattern.

75 = Ayin + Hei

1 = Aleph

2 = Bet

3 = Gimmel

4 = Dalet

5775 – The transition…

As we move from last year into the new year we should be aware of the Hebrew word that defines the moment we are in. Ayin, Dalet, Hei , pronounced “adah,” provides us with a picture of this transition. The meaning is:

A company of people who are elaborately adorned and attired to be a witness to the testimony of their God’s act of love.

The fifth day is the first reference to life and blessing. This is the purpose of grace in the life of a believer – to bring new life and the blessings of the Father.

This is the year of coming out, going up and transforming the environment with the overshadowing resident glory of my original purpose. The rituals of the past will be flattened by the accepting voice of my Father’s approval of who I have

always been in Him.



This year as I walk the path that Father has set before me I will intentionally

behold the splendor of His work which He has finished in me. My meditation will be about who lives within me and

how I am a part of grand plan to expand an eternal kingdom.



This is the year that I recognize the face of who I resemble. This is the year that I determine to walk through life without a veil over my face so that all can see

the radiance of His glory in me.Today I pull off the cloak of managed appearances and put on the real me,

the one created in Him before the foundation of the world.



This is the year of life and blessing. In this year of the Sabbath of the Lord I will rest and allow Him to pour His favor and blessing into my life. I will embrace the life I am living and bring my heavenly family into all that I am a part of, extending our influence into the lives

of family, friends, and coworkers through every blessing that I have been given.
