The analyses, opinions or interpretations contained in this report are based upon material and information supplied by the client. Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions does notimply that the contents of the sample received by this laboratory are the same as all such material in the environment from which the sample was taken. Our test results relateonly to the sample or samples tested. Any interpretations or opinions expressed represent the best judgement of Weidmann Diagnostic Solutions. Notations:
New insulation with a high degree of mechanical strength will typically have a Degree of Polymerization (DP) of 1000-1300. "Middle Aged" paper isapproximately 500 and paper with less than 250 is in its "Old Age". Severely degraded insulation with a DP of 150 or less will have very little mechanicalstrength and may result in a transformer failure. The following estimations are based on current research of GSU transformers filled with mineral oil.
QC Chemist: CN
Estimated Degree of Polymerization (DP): >1003Estimated Operating Age of the Equipment: <1.0
