Application Information2008 Eligibility – Graduate Students completing their graduate requirements between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008

2008 PMF Application open period:September 15 through October 6, 2007*

Applicants apply on-line using USAJOBS at www.USAJOBS.govor via a link from the PMF website’s “How To Apply”: www.pmf.opm.gov/HowToApply.asp

Applicants may reuse or revise their PMF resume for other positions on USAJOBS2008 - Applicants must use a USAJOBs resume to apply2008 - Applicants can monitor the status of their application through Application Manager

Assessment Review

The PMF Assessment Process Changed in 2007 to an Objective Based Assessment

No Major Changes are planned for 2008

The PMF Program will continue to monitor the PMF Assessment Process• Solicited Feedback from Agencies at 2007 Job Fair• Follow-up with PMF Supervisors• Quality Review of all Assessment Sections• Input from PMF Stakeholders• Changes will be recommended based on review and

analysis

PMF Placement Process

Finalists are invited to attend a PMF Job Fair in the Spring, attended by participating Federal Agencies

Finalists have access to an online PMF Projected Positions System to identify agency positions

Finalists have 12 months from the date they are selected to be appointed to agency positions
