He had two kids named Katherine and Ida, who died. His wife’s name was Ida . He was married on Jan. 25,1871.

He was a teacher and a lawyer.

His term of office was from April 30,1789 to March 3,1797. While in office George Washington was the first president to appear on a postage stamp. He was also the first man in American history to be a Lieutenant General. His Vice President was John Adams. He didn’t belong to a political party.

George Washington became a land surveyor at age 15 and by age 21 he was a military spy for the British army. He was the commander in chief of the Continental army.

Washington used to crack nuts with his teeth. He only had one natural tooth left in his mouth. Many people thought he had wooden teeth, he didn’t. He had a set of iron teeth, a set of ivory teeth, and a set made from extracted human teeth!

George didn’t have any kids but his first lady and wife was Martha Dandridge Custis Washington . They were married from 1759 to 1799.That’s 40 years.

He was the first president elected by the House of Representatives. He was the first president inaugurated in Washington, D.C. He bought the Louisiana Territory from France for $0.04 per acre. He sent Lewis and Clark on a expedition west.

He had seven siblings, two of which died in childhood. His mother was Jane and his father was Peter Jefferson. His wife was Martha Jefferson.

He was Governor of Virginia. Was Secretary of State under Washington.

He called slavery a crime, but was a slave owner his whole life. Often greeted his guests in old clothes.

Lincoln was a Lawyer, a Rail Splitter, a Store keeper, a postman ,and a Surveyor.

While in office Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address speech. He led the North side during the Civil war. Lincoln was assassinated while attending a play at Fords theater. Lincoln was in office from March 4,1861-April 15,1864. His vice president was Hannibal Hamlin.

His wife was Mary Lincoln. His 4 sons were Edward ,Thomas, Robert, and William. Sadly Robert was the only child to survive.

FIRSTS Lincoln was the first president born outside the original 13 colonies. He was the first president of the republican party.

Bush’s family is his 2 daughters, Jenna and Barbara and his wife is Laura.

George Bush was a managing partner and part owner of Texas Rangers baseball team from 1989-1998.

George Bush was first presidential election outcome appealed to the U.S. secretary of state. The first president to appoint an African-American as secretary of state.

William Howard Taft was the 27th president of the United States. He was born on September 15,1857 and died on March 8,1930.

While in office he disappointed his predecessor and former mentor that Roosevelt bolted from the Republican party to form his own ’’ Bull-Moose’’ party.

Helen Herron Taft was the 27th first lady. Was 4th child of 11 children. She was born on June 2nd 1861 and born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Died on May 22nd 1943 in Washington, D.C.

He was a lawyer and college professor before his presidency.

His wife was Louisa Catherine Johnson and his brother was Charles Frances Adams.

Adams installed the first billiard table in the White House. He kept a daily diary for 20 years. He helped establish the Smithsonian Institution. While he was in office, he swam in the Potomac, and had to ask a stranger walking by to go get clothes from the White House when some boys stole the ones he had removed. His terms in office were March 4,1825 to March 4, 1829.

He was the minister of Russia. He was the first president to marry a foreign-born woman.He president who was a son of a president.
