Introduction, Application, Features, Technical Data

Application

Designed specifically for safe accurate first stage reduction on high pressure gas systems. Extensively used forgas services to domestic, industrial and farm taps where an accurate, safe and dependable pressure controlledsupply is required.

Introduction

Size Range1 2, 3 4 and 1 Screwed to BS.21 Rc.

Installation

The regulator may be mounted in any orientation to suit site conditions, moisture or debris must not ingress thevent hole.

It is important when installing equipment that pipeline stresses are kept to a minimum and no undue externalforces are placed on the connections.

Installation

Regulator can be fitted with the Series 309 or 315Overpressure (OPCO) or Under/Over pressure(UPCO/OPCO) Safety Cut-Off valve. These devicesprotect the downstream in the event that adangerous gas pressure condition develops. Allsafety cut-off valves require External Control Lineconnection.

Trip indicator to show Open/Closed condition.

Remote Open/Closed position sensor.

Features

Diaphragm casing can be rotated through 360 relative to regulator body and can be positioned at any angle toassist servicing and installation in confined spaces.

Completely independent operation of regulator and safety cut-off valve. Both regulator casing/valve head and safety cut-off valve can be removed from the body as cartridges, ensuring

straightforward maintenance without removing the body from the pipeline. Wide operational pressure range Rapid response to load changes. Wide range of orifice sizes - Interchangeable in situ.

The Series 204 is a high pressure Externally Impulsed (ECL) direct acting, diaphragm actuated, lever operated,spring loaded open regulator for use on gas pressure reduction systems. The regulator can also be fitted withan independently operated Safety Cut-Off Valve for Over and Under/Over pressure protection.

Control of varying inlet pressure and capacity applications is ensured by utilising a range of interchangeableorifices of varying size.

Use with confidence on natural and manufactured gases of non-aggressive nature, including Nitrogen, CarbonDioxide, Propane and Butane.
