NET ScORE

Suspension of Play (Rule 5.7) – A prolonged sounding of the course warning system is to signify there is lightning or other danger in the area and play and practice have been suspended. Players on the course must mark and lift their balls and discontinue play and practice immediately and if possible, promptly get off the golf course and the practice areas. A player may abandon play before the warning system has sounded. Players may only resume play after the Committee has ordered a resumption of play by sounding the course warning system in repeated short notes.

At your own risk – All players use the golf course and the club’s facilities at their own risk and the club shall not be held liable for any personal injury or incur any liability which may result from such use to whomsoever. The club cannot warrant that any storm shelters on the course are safe from lightning strikes.

Out of bounds (Rule 18) – Beyond all boundaries and areas demarcated by white stakes including the areas left of the 13th hole, right of the 15th hole, left of 17th hole, and left and beyond the 18th hole. Objects defin-ing out of bounds such as fences and stakes are obstructions and are deemed to be fixed. A ball is out of bounds when all of it lies out of bounds.

Penalty areas are defined by either red or yellow stakes.

Obstructions (Rule 16) – All satellite boxes, storm shelters, benches, ball washers, dustbins, water points, tee & hole indicators and artificially-surfaced roads or paths are immovable obstructions.

Protection of small trees (up to 2 club lengths in height) – Should such a tree interfere with a player’s stance or area of his swing, relief must be taken within one club lenght from the nearest point of relief.

bunkers – Please enter and exit bunkers from lowest point and take care to protect steep bunker faces.

Dropping Zones – If a player’s ball is unplayable behind the 15th green a player may drop the ball in the dropping zone under penalty of one stroke.

ImPORTANT NOTIcESboundary fence – The Club’s boundaries are protected by an electric fence that is dangerous to touch at any time.Pace of play – Please adhere to the Guidelines set by the Committee and the Course Marshall’s instructions, to avoid penalty.
