I chose “Pretty Little Liars” because I started watching it on Netflix and couldn’t stop, because its such a good show to get into. This show is an American teen drams mystery thriller. It is based on the series of novels written by the author Sara Shepard. The episodes are about the lives of Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery. These four girls group of friends suddenly falls apart after there good friend

Alison DiLaurentis disappears. They begin to get letters from someone that goes by the name or the signature of “-A” one year later after the

disappearance of Alison. These aren't little sweet letters, they are threats to release the girls deep dark secrets. After getting the first few letters

they just think that it is Alison messing with them, but then short after they find Alison's body so sure enough it is definitely not her. They begin to find out that this “A” had been stalking Alison and the other girls, they start to

find more information about her while risking their own lives.

INTRODUCTION

The town that the episodes are located in Rosewood, Pennsylvania. This town is based on a real town called

“Rosemount, PA”. A very rich town, with wealthy people living in the town. Places in the town are Anne Sullivan's office, The Church, The Greenhouse, The Haunted House, The Kissing Rock, Rosewood Country Club, Speed Demon

Express, etc. The school that the girls go to is a big setting of the show, the high school that the girls go to is named

“Rosewood Day”.

SETTING

Alison DiLaurentic (Sasha Pieterse) is a main character in the TV episodes of pretty little liars. Her loved ones liked to

call her “Ali”, her group of girlfriends are Emily, Hanna, Aria and Spencer. Alison was the “Queen Bee” of her clique,

but when she suddenly went missing during a slumber party at the end of summer. Her girlfriends began to think a

year later that she Alison was messing with the girls by sending them threatening messages from someone signing “A” at the end of these messages. But Shortly after the first letter Alison's body is found and the rest you will have to watch to find out. She was a beautiful blonde teenage girl

with blue eyes and a skinny body.

ALISON DILAURENTIS

Aria Montgomery is a beautiful woman described as having long blue-black hair and ice blue eyes, those are her

distinguishing features. She appears to be tall with a pouty lip, she has a ballet dancer frame for a body. Her role in the show is single student girl, daughter of Byron Montgomery

and Ella Montgomery, friends of Courtney DiLaurentis, Emily Fields, Hanna Marin, Spencer Hastings, Graham Pratt and Jenna Cavanaugh. A Anti Rosewood girl with problems that she just wants to escape from, she has a chance when

she moves to live in Iceland for 3 years but when she moves back she has changed but her problems are still there.

ARIA MONTGOMERY

Spencer is a very intelligent woman for her age, she is also very ambitious. She is always striving for perfection in every single thing that she does. But for the reason of living up to her parents high expectations of her. Her biggest rival is her

elder sister Melissa. She's a tall slim girl with brown beautiful hair, she's very pretty. She feels alone at the

beginning of the first season, but then she begins to fall for wren who was Melissa's fiancé, also dates Toby Cavanaugh.

SPENCER HASTINGS

What teen issues does this show explore? I believe that it explores on mystery and figuring who you have to trust when it a tricky situation. Also loss of friends, when you grow into

your teens you realize who your good friends that should stay in your life and who you need to trust. Does this show

send positive messages to teens today? I believe that it does somewhat in a way, by advertising girls working together

and remaining to try stay strong and smart.

TEEN ISSUES

The viewers of “Pretty Little Liars” is the large amount of 2.47 million viewers in the first season. Then later on the amount was still quite high, as a regular audience of 2.5 million viewers during its

summer run.

VIEWERS

The pretty little liars can be compared to with vampire diaries because they are both

teen dramas. In both there are deaths happening because of murders and violence. They are different because vampire diaries is super natural and pretty little liars is a

drama. The two TV shows are equal because they are up to date and newer episodes.
