This year, the school celebrated its 60th Anniversary to the theme - “Appreciate, Affirm, Aspire”. The theme highlights our heritage and achievements, and recognises all pupils, staff and stakeholders, both past and present, who have contributed to the holistic development of Rosythians.

As we anchor ourselves in I-CARE values, hone our talents and abilities to serve and benefit others, we strive to create a better future for Rosyth School and the community.

Financial Assistance

• Forms for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) can be obtained from the MOE website or from the General Office from today onwards.

– MOE FAS provisions includes: waiver of standard miscellaneous fees, free textbooks & school attire, transport subsidy.

– Income criteria (Gross Household Income not exceeding $2500/mth OR Per Capita Income not exceeding $625/mth)

Financial Assistance

• Students from low-income households can apply for IDA’s NEU PC Plus Programme to own a new computer at a subsidised price. To apply, approach the school general office for an application form.

Opting for MTL

• Default allocation of MTL is based on the race of the student’s father.

• Parents will need to apply if they would like their child to study a different MTL.

• To apply, approach the school general office for an application form.

• Registration forms are available at the SCC (Level 1, classroom block) and the General Office.

HOMEWORK SUPERVISION

This activity is not a tutorial but provides supervision by teachers to help students concentrate and get work done on their own.

Activities include :-

Penmanship

Self-revision

A minimum of 1-Hour Supervised Study Time is set aside for students to complete their homework or self-revision. More time will be allocated for the Study Time nearer the examination period.

• For access to all other areas in the school, parents will need to report to the G.O. first.
