Next steps
National Grid is considering the most effective way in which it is able to meet Ofgem’s requirements
Options for Survey resourcing are currently under consideration.
Use of direct labour. Shipper liaison to be facilitated by ‘customer’ department.
Outsourcing to contractors by competitive tender. Contractor responsible for all Shipper/Supplier/Customer interfaces.
A method of capturing data in a consistent way needs to be developed
Confirm ownership of Primary/Sub-deduct Supply Point/User
Consistent method of contact with end-consumer needs to be agreed (contact letters, etc)
Extent of NGD liaison with Shipper/Supplier of key importance
