  • The Managementof Primewealth Capital Limited consists of seasoned professionals who have received broad base exposure in banking, Assets Management, Stock Broking, Pension Fund Management, among others. They are further strengthened by a 7 man board of directors who are well versed in corporate governance with proven integrity and capability.
  • A profileof the members of our Board is as follows:
  • Alex Okohis the Chairman of Primewealth Limited. He has 22 years of experience in the banking industry with extensive responsibilities in general management, leadership and organizational development. He has functioned in a variety of roles including investment banking, corporate banking, operations and treasury.
  • He was Managing Director/CEO of NNB International Bank Plc from 2001 to 2006, during which time his visionary leadership took the bank to a position of enhanced value for stakeholders. He is a graduate of Harvard Business Schools Advanced Management Program. He has also acquired international working exposure through programs with Citibank New York, Fidelity Bank London, Swiss Banking Corporation Zurich and Grindlays Bank, Zimbabwe.
  • His former employers include Nigeria International Bank Limited (Citibank), United Bank for Africa Plc, Stanbic Bank Limited (then Grindlays and Merchant Bank of Africa Limited. He studied Sociology at the University of Benin and holds a Masters degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Ibadan.

4. Directors and Management Team

  • Obafunmilayo Agustograduated with Honours in Mathematics from the University of Lagos and is a merit award winner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has over eighteen years experience with Arthur Andersen, IBFC as an auditor, business and financial consultant. His experience spans a number of industries especially banking and financial services, petroleum marketing and manufacturing.
  • He left Arthur Andersen as head of banking and financial consulting services to co-found IBFC in 1992. He is currently Managing Partner of Alliance Consulting. He was involved in the development of the Nigerian Accounting Standard for Bank and Other Financial Institutions as well as the Prudential Guidelines of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He is a part-time faculty member of the Lagos Business School in the area of Finance.
  • Bello Maccido , the Wakilin Sokoto is the current Managing Director CEO of Legacy Pensions Limited. He started his illustrious career in 1990 with Ecobank Nigeria Plc as an Officer in Credit and Marketing. He moved to New Africa Merchant in 1992 as Manager and Head Corporate Banking Division. He joined FSB as a Manager in 1996 and he rose steadily to become General Manager and Acting Managing Director in 2004. His responsibilities included spearheading the marketing of the Banks Financial Advisory services as well as arranging several big ticket third party and off balance sheet financing. Mallam Maccido studied Law at the Ahmadu Bello University and graduated in 1985. He was called to the Bar in 1986. He also holds a Masters degree in Business administration specialising in managerial finance. He is also a Chartered Stockbroker.

  • Alaba Odunlami Esq .is a Legal Practitioner with extensive experience in legal practice.
  • He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree LLB (Hons) from the University of Lagos, Akoka in 1979 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where was called to the Bar in 1980.
  • He joined the firm of T.O. Shobowale Benson & Company as a Legal Practitioner and worked there till September, 1987 when he resigned to set up his own practice under the name and style of Alaba Odunlami & Company.
  • He was appointed and sworn as a Notary Public of Nigeria in March 1988 and was in December 2004 accredited a Mediator by the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) the leading dispute resolution organisation in the United Kingdom. He engages in Consultancy work in the areas of Project Design, Management and Implementation especially in the telecommunications sector, he is also on the Neutrals List of the Lagos Multi-Door Court House and a faculty resource person for the Courthouse.
  • Olusoji Oyawoyeis the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Resource Intermediaries Limited. He has over 19 years experience in the banking industry with extensive responsibilities in relationship management, marketing and business growth. He has functioned in diverse executive roles and interrelationships covering business development, Treasury management, finance, corporate services and human resources.
  • He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ilorin and also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the International Association of Outsourcing
  • His previous employers include New Nigeria Bank, Equitorial Trust Bank Plc and Magnum Trust Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc). Prior to joining Resource Intermediaries Limited, he was Divisional Head, Commercial Banking of Bank of the North Strategic Business Unit (now Unity Bank) where he led the executive team appointed to integrate Bank of the North into Unity Bank Plc.

  • Bimbo Siyanbolais the current Managing Director of Great Nigeria Insurance Company Limited (GNI).Mr Siyanbola is a seasoned insurance professional. He studied insurance at the University of Lagos and graduated in 1985 with a Second Class Upper Division winning an award as the best insurance student. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institutes of Nigeria and London respectively. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Directors (London), Institute of Direct marketing as well as an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing. He also attended the Strategic Management Program of the National Insurance Academy India as well as the 12th Chief Executive Programme at the Lagos Business School.
  • He has also written several academic papers. Mr. Siyanbola started his insurance career in 1986 as an Underwriting Superintendent with Sentinel Assurance Company. He Joined Great Nigeria Insurance Company in 1987 as Resident Inspector, Branch/Marketing Manager. He subsequently worked with Nigerian French Insurance Company in 1993 as AGM (Marketing) and returned to Great Nigeria Insurance in 1997 as Managing Director. He left GNI briefly between 2005 and 2006 when he served as Managing Director of E & O Power and Equipment Leasing Ltd (a subsidiary of Odua Investment Limited) and returned to Great Nigeria Insurance in 2006 as Managing Director. Mr Siyanbola brings his wealth of experience to the Board.
  • Dayo Oyebanjiis the Managing Director. A graduate of the Senior Executive Program of the prestigious London Business School, he holds a First Class (Honours) Degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is Chartered Accountant and also registered by SEC as Funds and Portfolio Manager.
  • He worked with Bromley Limited, a Financial Advisory firm, before joining NNB International Bank Plc where he worked as Group Head, Financial Controls with executive responsibility for the banks management information and performance management systems. His last role was Deputy Group Head, Investment Banking Group of Unity Bank, in charge of Capital Market, Funds and Portfolio Management and Corporate Finance.
  • He brings to bear his experience in investment banking, financial controls, risk management, management consulting and leadership/ general management skills. This includes working in the Finance and Banking Group of the Assurance Division at Arthur Andersen (now KPMG Professional Services).

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan as well as a Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Delta State University Abraka. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and the Nigerian Institute of Management andwas instrumental to the reorganization of the companys market out-reach that led to the astronomical growth of the companys stock broking/fund management business.

  • IGUWO UKWUis the Company Secretary and Head, Asset Management. He joined Primewealth Capital Limited with several years post qualification experience principally in Banking and the Legal practice where he excelled in Asset management, Recovery, Legal Advisory and Company Secretarial roles. Prior to joining Primewealth Capital Limited he was with NNB International Bank and later Unity Bank Plc where he worked in the Company Secretariat, Legal Services Department and Recovery /Assets management respectively. At various times he has been the Deputy Head, Debt Recovery, Regional Legal officer (Lagos Mainland Region), Deputy Zonal Head, Assets Management Committee. He holds the LL.B (hons) degree from University of Nigeria and subsequently attended the Nigerian Law School after which he was called to the Nigerian Bar. Iguwo is an effective Team builder and Asset Manager.
  • CYRIL AKIKAis Head, Business Development/Corporate Finance. He holds a B.Sc degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, London. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
  • Cyril is an astute banker with relevant experience spanning over ten years. He started out his banking career with New Nigeria Bank (NNB) now Unity Bank from where he moved to FCMB as Relationship Manager/ Head commercial Banking from where he rose to position of Branch Manger. Before coming to PrimeWealth Capital Ltd as Head of Corporate Finance and Business Development, he was Branch Manager, Ecobank Benin.
  • At Primewealth Capital he has responsibility for, making financial projections, delivering selective financial advisory services, and the execution of corporate finance mandates for equity/debt finance in both public and private sectors.

  • SIKIRU AYINDEis theHead of Operations . He is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos. He holds an MBA and is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria as well as the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. In his over thirteen years experience in the banking Industry he has functioned in diverse executive roles and interrelationships covering operations, financial control, finance and audit. His previous employers include Victory Merchant Bank and Olukola Osunbunmi & Co. Prior to joining PrimeWealth. He was Head of Finance and Control at Premium Securities Limited (a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Plc) and was responsible for the supervision of all operations of the company.
  • COMFORT OSEMWEGIEis a research analyst with over 6 years experience in research and analysis of the financial market with strong background in technical analysis, fundamental analysis, market intelligence, equity valuation and data build up. She also has key experience in strategy, asset management, financial planning, training, customer service, brand development and management
  • An Associate of the American Academy of Financial Management, Comfort studied Statistics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State and also holds a university diploma in Business Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife. She started her career as a research officer with Stockswatch Magazine from where she moved in 2003 to FutureView Financial Services Limited as Senior Research Analyst. She became the Head, Research and Development in December 2003 and moved to PrimeWealth Capital Limited in 2007 as Head, Research. Comfort also holds certificates in Capital Market Development and Negotiation of Financial Transaction from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Switzerland. She is currently undergoing training as a bond Expert.

  • VALERIE NNEKA OKEBHAGBErecently joined the Asset management / Business development team. She is a Relationship Manager. She attended University of Calgary, AB, Canada from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communication and Culture and a minor in Law & Society. Before then she had attended Mount Royal College, Calgary, AB, Canada from where she graduated with a diploma in Arts and Science. She is currently enrolled at the Canadian Securities Institute for the Canadian Securities course. Prior to joining Primewealth Capital, she worked with Home Right Investments / Lydian Properties Inc. Edmonton, AB Canada as an Investment/Marketing Representative. She joins the company with extensive experience in investment portfolio and property management.
