Quote of the Week
Don’t count the days, make the days count.
On Sunday the 11th of November we stopped to remember all the men and women who have served and made the greatest sacrifice in the theatre of war. Cranbourne RSL held a memorial service at 11am and all schools in our area had representatives lay a commemorative wreath.
Cranbourne Primary School was represented by Taleah and Shelby W. The girls did a fantastic job and rep-resented our school with PRIDE. On behalf of the school community I want to thank Taleah and Shelby for donating their time to this very important event.
Lest we forget.
Happy Birthday to those students who
are celebrating their special day!

Community News
Community events are a great opportunity for parents and family to be a part of the school
environment. We have a few things happening this term, including:
Scholastic Book Fair—this is a great opportunity to purchase reasonably priced books
for family members and help the school at the same time! Please refer to page 4 of this
newsletter for book fair times.
Run4Fun Colour explosion—the students and staff are looking forward to this event!
Students are busy collecting sponsorship for the fun run, to be held on 19th December.
Teachers are getting ready to unleash the explosion of colour! Please encourage your
child to collect sponsors and join in the fun! Proceeds from the day will support school
improvement.
Grade 6 graduation will be a big event for our students and their families. Tickets are
currently on sale so make sure you finalise your ticket purchases.
We are busy making plans for next year, and we are planning to have more community
events in 2019. We hope that you will be a part of the fun activities being planned!
