There have been a lot of events, both academic and sporting, that Rous Public School students have been involved in. All students should be congratulated for their efforts. A big thank you must go to all parents for their support in transporting students to and from these events. This would not be possible without your assistance. There are some staffing changes as well next week. I will be in Sydney with the school soccer team from Wednesday onwards. Mrs Simpson will teach my class on Wednesday. On Thursday the 3/4 class will be split between the other classrooms and Mrs Imms will teach 3/4 on Friday. Mrs Kelsall will teach 1/2 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mr Nind will remain on 5/6 on Wednesday and Thursday, with the remainder of the 5/6 split on Friday between the other classes. K/1 will remain as normal. Sometimes these changes are unavoidable and require classes to be split. Thank you for your cooperation. Soccer Team
Yesterday the Northern Star Newspaper visited our school, took some
photos and spoke to the soccer team about their upcoming trip to
Sydney. The photos and story will appear in the Northern Star and Echo
in the coming week.
Hats
It is important that all students wear a wide brimmed hat to school. The weather
is beginning to warm up and teachers will be monitoring students in the
playground.
Assembly
Today will be our last assembly for the term. There will be no assembly in week 10.

Thank you those students who brought overdue books back. We are now down to
145 still out on loan. Still a huge number of books. If your child says they have returned their books
please let the school know with a note so I can have a good look on the shelves.
