In most instances, we have had to call 000 and get police involved. We have a 10-minute policy. In almost every case, there has been a lack of communication and parents have not notified either the school or the Hive about changes (eg, playdates, late pickups). Think for a moment how you would feel if you lost your child. Then imagine how we must feel having to look after 650 children every day. School Uniform Please be vigilant in helping your child to come to school in full school uniform. Hats are of a particular concern. The No Hat, No Play policy will be enforced. Principal's News

Lost childrenThere has been a spate of lost children after school recently.

School UniformPlease be vigilant in helping your child to come to school in full school uniform. Hats are of a particular concern. The No Hat, No Play policy will be enforced.

Students in Year 6 have been focusing on the elements of writing. Using elements of language and grammar, they have created self-assessment tools to better understand how to improve the quality of their writing. They were inspired to write a story by the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It is a small pagoda built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on.

Go to our Year 6 webpage to enjoy Islay and Jibrael's stories and appreciate the wonderful artistic recreations of the Golden Boulder.
