• Is any resource a teacher uses to help him teach his students • are the tools
used in educational lessons.
Principles in Selecting I.Ms
▪Instructor must be thoroughly familiar with the content of all instructional materials used.▪Instructor should select only instructional materials that are consistent with students and capabilities and learning styles.▪Instructional materials should be chosen objectively rather than on the basis of the teacher’s personal preference.
▪Instructional materials produced locally by instructor usually make significant contributions of learning.▪Instructional materials should be chosen on the basis of their contribution to the learning outcomes rather than on the basis of availability or ease to use.
