Intro
General
In the following workflow scenarios we show how to process five different product types withPrinect Integration Manager.
I. PosterII. CardsIII. Flyer Double Gate FoldIV. Brochure BackstitchedV. Brochure Perfect Bound
For each product type we show how to set it up as JDF job fromMIS and as how to manuallyset it up in Prinect Cockpit.
1. JDF job from MIS (Management Information System):Calculation of a job and subsequent job generation from MIS with JDF output. Submissionof the JDF file and automatic generation of the job in Prinect Integration Manager.
2.Manual Job:Manual job generation in Prinect Integration Manager using the technical specifications of aprinted order jacket.
Procedure
MIS: Each chapter covering a scenario starts with an order sheet containing all job-specificdata. The job starts with estimating in the MIS and ends with the JDF file and job ticket beingoutput (as hardcopy and as HTML file).
Prepress: For Prinect Integration Manager we present two ways of generating a job:
1. Automatic job generation in Prinect Cockpit using the JDF file2. Manual job generation in Prinect Cockpit
In both cases we will describe the entire procedure: loading of PDF data in Prinect Cockpit, imposition in Prinect Signa Station and finally plate output.
Press: The job data (digital job ticket, ink zone defaults) are available in Prinect PressCenter. In each scenario, the print job is loaded in Prinect Press Center, printed on therespective press (CD74-6P3L or XL105-8P5) and the shop floor data collection as fed back.
Postpress: In Postpress, production is described with the cutting, folding, backstitching andperfect binding data you specified in Prinect Data Terminal.
Job Costing: The last item of the workflow description covers the job analysis in AnalyzePoint and job costing in Prinect Prinance.

Notes:
MISThe workflow scenarios describe Prinect Prinance as example for an MIS. Connection andconfiguration of a 3rd party MIS is not covered in this documentation.
Prinect SchedulerThe present document does not cover the Prinect Scheduler.
Prinect Integration ManagerThe present document does not contain the installation documentation for Prinect Inte-gration Manager.
