Print a Course Certificate The Herbalife Learning Management System allows you to print a Certificate of Completion for courses, when available. If you are not familiar with printing from Web pages, there are a few steps you should follow. Printing Preferences

In most browsers, the Menu Bar lets you easily access the printer preferences. Although printers can vary, the most important elements are consistent from printer to printer. These include printing in color or black and white, paper layout/orientation (portrait or landscape), margins, paper size and headers and footers.

Choosing Your Browser

Before taking a course and printing your certificate, you need to choose the browser you will use to navigate the Web. Although the wording can be different from browser to browser, the process is similar. Internet Explorer – Print Troubleshooting If you have trouble printing while in a course, you must exit the course window and return to the Learning Center to adjust the print settings. (Later, you can resume the course where you left off.)

To get started, make sure the Menu Bar is visible by following these three steps:

1. Click the Tools button

2. Choose Toolbars

3. Select Menu bar

With the Menu Bar available, you can select Page Setup and Print Preview, which will help you adjust your print options. Before you start printing make sure you:

- Enter your name as you would like it to appear on the Certificate, and

- Click the View Certificate button from the Congratulations screen.

Internet Explorer – Print Troubleshooting (cont’d) When you are ready, follow the next steps in the Certificate window:

1. Click File in the Menu Bar

2. Choose Page setup

3. Set the orientation to Landscape

4. Check Print Background Colors and Images

5. Set your Margins preference (0.5 is recommended)

6. Set all Headers and Footers to Empty

NOTE: Click File and choose Print Preview to see how your page will look before you print it. Once you’re satisfied with the page, click Print.

Chrome – Print Troubleshooting The Chrome browser doesn’t have a Menu Bar to access functions like Print Preview or Print Options.

In the certificate window:

1- Click Print this certificate

2- Set Layout to Landscape

3- Set your Margins preference (a top margin of 0.25 is recommended)

4- Leave Headers and footers unchecked

5- Be sure the certificate looks how you want in the display window, and then click Print.

4. Check on Print Background (colors & images)

5. Click the Margins & Header/Footer tab

6. Set your Margins (0.5 is recommended)

7. Ensure all Headers & Footers are set to Blank

NOTE: Click File and choose Print Preview to see how your page will look before you print it. Once you’re satisfied with the page click Print.

Safari for Mac – Print Troubleshooting When using Safari on a Mac, the browser doesn’t have a Menu Bar to access functions like Print Preview or Print Options.

In the Certificate window:

1. Click Print this certificate

2. Set Orientation to Landscape

3. Adjust the Scale to your preference (this is similar to margins)

4. Leave Print headers and footers unchecked

5. Click Print

the browser

Safari for PC – Print Troubleshooting (cont’d) With the Menu Bar available, you can adjust your print options:

1. Click File in the Menu Bar

2. Select Page Setup in the drop-down menu

3. Set Orientation to Landscape

4. Set your Margins (the default is usually fine), and click OK

5. In the Certificate window, click Print this certificate to open the Print dialog box

6. Click Properties

NOTE: The next window will vary depending on your printer and the options available, but be sure the Layout or Page Orientation is set to Landscape. Adjust other options to your preference and click Print.

1. Click File in the Menu Bar

2. Choose Print Options

3. Remove checkmark from Print headers and footers

4. Adjust the Page margins to your preference (0.00 is recommended)

5. Click Paper and Orientation

6. In the Orientation section select Landscape

7. Click OK

NOTE: To see how your Certificate will look before you print it, click File and choose Print Preview. Make any further adjustments in Print Options, click Print.
