The menu slides open revealing a list of options including ‘Categories’ and ‘Subscriptions’. Select ‘Categories’ to open a full list of article categories. A selected category will highlight momentarily and the menu will close. A full list of articles from the chosen category will then be displayed. Select ‘Subscriptions’ to open a full list of categories you wish to subscribe to, or untick ones you wish to unsubscribe to. To close this list swipe the menu closed, click the main menu button, or click the back arrow to return to the main menu list. Once the menu has closed your selected subscriptions will be displayed in the category title bar. The categories you have subscribed to can be selected by swiping the category title bar at the top of the page left or right. The list of articles will update when the category is left in place for an amount of time, i.e. 1 or 2 seconds. Note: If no categories are subscibed to then the category title bar will be populated with all categories in the order they appear in the main category menu. From any article click the ‘share’ icon in the options bar to open the recommendations menu. The recommendations menu contains a full list of people and classes connected to your Sembly account. Select multiple classes and individuals by ticking them If you select ‘All Readers’ then your recommended article will appear in the ‘Recommended’ list in the said articles category. No message attachment will appear with this selection. If you have selected a class group or an individual then you will be prompted to add a message to of your recommendation. You can send without a message by clicking ‘send without message’. If you wish to send a message type your message. Once the text button appears. Click this and your recommendation is sent to all recipients. The recipient will recieve a recommendation card containing all information attached to the recommendation including the recommendee, article card, and message (if message was attached). At the bottom of the card are options to ‘read now’, ‘read later’ and ‘dismiss’. On login you land on your Channels page. Select a channel to view latest articles and videos The chosen channel opens with its unique landing page. Swiping right will reveal the will have a large image or video playing in the background with the article title and a brief description of the article content. Swiping up on an article screen will reveal thefull article content or video player. The article content is revealed along with all relevant images and videos. Form here you can swipe down to reveal the article title screen or continue swiping right to reveal the next articles title screen. Swiping left will return you to the previous article title page. The devices back button is used to return to the main channels page. This is also done by clicking the ‘channels’ icon in the icon bar. From the main ‘channels’ page there is a large button to access the Sembly classes section. When the ‘Sembly Classes’ is clicked you will be prompted to choose one of your accounts if you have more than one. If you only have one account you will be sent directly to the default classes landing page. Throughout the classes area a large ‘Sembly Channels’ button will be constantly present at the bottom of the screen, and when clicked will return you to the main channels page. From news feed landing page click the menu icon to open the categories menu. The full list of categories slides open. This list is scrollable to reach categories lower down the list. When a category is selected it becomes highlighted and its sub-menu appears. Here you can select an option to ‘view now’, ‘subscribe’ or ‘subscribe & view now’. If you do not want to select one of these options then you can close the sub-menu be clicking the selected category or any other category. By selecting ‘view now’ or ‘subscribe & view now’ the menu will slide closed and the selected category will display its full list of articles. If you select ‘subscribe’ the option will highlight momentarily and the sub-menu will close, leaving the category menu still open in order to select other categories.
