Step 1: Insert USB Memory Stick into the right side of copier/scanner This is called “External Memory” on the copier/scanner

Step 2: Select “Print a document from External Memory” (This will PRINT the PDF file) OR Select “Save a document to External Memory” (This will CREATE an digital PDF File of the document you scan. Ex. Use this file as an email attachment.

**NOTE: Look at Step 4 if this menu does NOT appear.

Step 3: Make sure “User Box” is selected. Select the file. The file will be “Highlighted” Select “Print” The menu you will now see resembles the copy menu you are accustomed to. **Note: “1 / #” with the Up & Down arrow allows you to scroll the folders & files on your USB stick.

Step 4: WHOA! This is confusing! Make sure “User Box” is selected. If this menu appears, press “External Memory” to access your USB Memory Stick. ONCE FINISHED, Press “COPY” to revert to the ubiquitous copier function.
