1. Scope This specification covers the materials, design and make for carry bags for footwalk post personnel of the South African Post Office.
2. Definitions and Abbreviations For the purpose of this specification the definitions given in SANS 10371 "Terms and definitions for clothing" and the following shall apply: acceptable: acceptable to the South African Post Office nominal: subject to the tolerances normal to good manufacturing practice SANS: South African National Standard
3. Applicable Documents The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this specification. 6. Client Furnished Materials No materials shall be supplied by the South African Post Office.
7. Component Materials The following materials shall be supplied and used by the manufacturer. A trim chart containing the components as given in 7.2 to 7.17 shall accompany each pre-production sample. See Annex A.

7.17 Threads
