1. What Are Probiotics?

Probiotics Are Vital To Your Health

Probiotic organisms work in cooperation with the immune system - Casey Adams, Ph. D.

For over 100 years, probiotics have been scientificially proven to be beneficial to our health.

In 1908 the first probiotics researcher, Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov, recieved the Nobel Prize in Medicine. Ilya Mechnikov found that certain types of bacteria greatly im-proved people’s digestive health. He believed that probiotics supplementation is the key to a long life.

The last 100 years have confirmed Ilya’s research and researchers have found more unknown benefits than the Nobel Prize winner could have imagined.

You might be surprised to learn that probiotics are typically bacteria and fungi. While everyone has heard that bacteria are bad, that is only half the story. There are certain probiotic bacteria that need to be in your body.

If your helpful bacteria & yeast are out of balance, your body will more easily get sick, have more allergies, and will even get more cavities.

Read the next section, “Why Should You Take Probiotics?” to learn about all the scientifically proven benefits of probiotics.

Probiotics fix immunity, digestion & allergies.

2. Why Should You Take Probiotics?Scientific research proves probiotics help in a wide variety of health conditions.

I’ve read 351 probiotics research articles and found that the most deeply re-searched probiotic benefits fall into 3 categories: • strengthening immunity • decreasing allergies • improving digestion

It has also been proven that probiotics fight other diseases such as ulcers, yeast infections, colic, candida & cancer.

The German Cold StudyThe common cold...what a pain! Some vitamins & supplements can help. But what about probiotics? A German researcher decided to investigate if probiotics can help defeat the common cold.

In 2005, researcher de Vrese M of the Institute for Physiology and Biochemistry of Nutrition in Germany gave 479 health adults either: • probiotics + vitamins • only vitamins

For 3 months during the brutal German winter, both groups took their vitamins, or probiotics + vitamins. The group that took probiotics reported: • colds were shorter by 2 days • colds were mild

Blood was drawn from both groups. After analysis, the blood immunity markers were found to be much higher in the probiotic group. This proves that probiotic supplmentation will fight other viral infections.

The Japanese Pollen StudyMy friend at work dreads springtime in California. Each year she is assulted by a triple-play of a headaches, a runny nose, and a sore throat.

Springtime in Japan is no different. This got Researcher T Ogawa, of the Asahi University School of Dentistry, Japan, to scientifically investigate if probiotics could help with seasonal allergies.

During the peak allergy season in Japan, Professor T Ogawa recruited a group of allergy sufferers. He gave one group L. casei probiotic + dextran, and gave the control group a placebo.

Amazingly, the L. casei probiotic group did not see a spike in any allergies during the peak pollen season. The placebo group did see an increase in allergy symptoms and blood allergy markers.

My friend at work thinks I’m crazy for suggesting she take bacteria (aka probiot-ics), but the research says that probiotic L. casei will help with her season aller-gies.

Think of a friend or relative who has intense seasonal allergies. To help your friend, you should send them this probiotics buying guide.

The Finnish IBS Study I have a close friend who suffers from IBS.

(IBS is a mix of symptoms that range from abdominal pain, cramping, diarrhea, gurgling stomach, gas and constipation. Often there is alternating diarrhea & constipation...fun, and there are few known effective treatments for IBS!)

IBS is quite common in the USA and also Finland...which is where the brilliant probiotics researcher, Dr. Kajander of Valio Research Centre in Helsinki, Finland conducted this IBS study.

This study was conducted on 103 patients for 6 months. For the 52 pateints who took one probiotic pill a day, their symptoms were reduced by an average 42%!

Here’s what the researcher Dr. Kajander said about these amazing results: “Considering the high prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome and the lack of effective therapies...the results indicate that this probiotic mix- ture is effective in alleviating irritable bowel syndrome symptoms.”

Think of a friend or relative who has digestive issues. To help your friend, you should send them this probiotics buying guide.

More Probiotic BenefitsBeyond IBS, allergies, & immunity, probiotics have also been proven to help: • Vitamin & Mineral Absorption • Intestinal Inflammation • Lactose Intolerance • Ulcerative Colitis • Infant Diarrhea • Colon Cancer • Constipation • Leaky Gut • C. Difficil • Ulcers

Think of a friend or relative who has any of the above. To help your friend, you should send them this probiotics buying guide.

Next I will reveal what type of probiotics products you should buy. You should read on to “Which probiotics should you buy?”.

The 3 Things You Want In Your Probiotic1. MultistrainBased on my research, experimentation & the experiences of Probiotics.org news-letter subscribers, multistrain probiotics are more effective at symptoms relief.

This is not 100% proven, but I believe multistrain probiotics typically work better because our body can absorb the strains it wants. And given how much our stress levels, food, exercise and sleep can change from day to day, it makes sense that our body would absorb need probiotics on different days.

I generally recommend that adults take a probiotic of at least 6 strains. At least some of the strains should be a type of Lactobacillus, and some should be a type of bifidobacterium.

Examples are: • Lactobacillus Acidophilus (sometimes called L. Acidophilus) • Bifidobacterium Infantis (sometimes called B. Infantis)

Bottom line, make sure your probiotic has at least: • one or more Bifidobacterium • one or more Lactobacillus • 6 or more total strains

2. Low In SugarIf you’re taking probiotics to get healthy, then adding lots of sugar is going to reduce the benefit.

Here is how sugar hurts your health: • can cause yeast infections • contributes to diabestes • decreases immunity • causes weight can • grows Candida

If a probiotic has too much sugar, then you should avoid it. Probiotic yogurts and juices can be especially high in sugar...so read your ingredients

3. No AllergensSince probiotics have been proven to help with allergies, it’s counterproductive to buy a probiotic that has allergens.

Many probiotics are grown in dairy and may have trace amounts of milk left on them. Please be espcially careful if you are sensitive to dairy.

Most common allergens in probiotic pill/powder supplements are: • wheat • dairy • soy

In probiotic yogurts, there also are sometimes: • natural/artifical flavors • natural/artifical colors • loads of sugar • preservatives • carrageenan • wheat • soy

If you are sensitive to any of these ingredients, please watch out for them.

Read On To Make Your Life EasierIn summary, the key points are: • buy multistrain probiotics (6 or more strains) • make sure there are both Lactobacillus & Bifidobacterium • avoid sugary probiotics • avoid allergens

The above criteria will get you a very good probiotic supplement. But the above criteria will only get you the optimum supplement 55% of the time.

The truth is that those criteria are still not considering: • your exact symptoms • your age • your sex

I think it’s clear that a male infant who doesn’t eat solid foods needs very different probiotics than a mother with a yeast infection.

To get you the 99.99% optimum probiotic personalized to you, I created a special probiotic product search engine called the Personalized Probiotic Finder™. Read on to the next page to access this amazing tool.

My Personal Health JourneyI write you today as a very fit, energetic 30 year old man. But, there was an 18 month period in my life where I had terrible digestion, very low energy, back pain and was 29.4 lbs overweight. I was also sick 2-3 days a month because of low immunity.

Probiotics did a lot to help get my diestion/immunity in order. In fact, I still take probiotics every day. But it took more than probiotics to get me from my “Before” picture, to my “After” picture.

It took over 9 months to get my health back, but thanks to Janet Alexander, the legendary trainer, I am back to form. Through a combination of her exercises, changing what I eat, rest & probiotics, I am feeling vibrant!

Stay tuned, I’ll be telling you how you can make this health transformation too!
