PROCESS FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS (PFMEA) Date: 18-19 March 2020 Time: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Venue: DreamEDGE, Cyberjaya Code: EK11 PUBLIC PROGRAMME Certificate of attendance provided * minimum of 75% attendance Failure Mode and Effect Analysis is a structured methodology used for risk prevenon and applicable to many industries. It is use to analyse a design or process and idenfy potenal failure mode, root cause and associated effects. Each failure modes is scored based on an assessment of through the Severity (SEV), Occurrence (OCC) and Detecon (DET) concept, these are assessed and engineering judgement is used to determine if the risk is acceptable. Usage of Risk Priority Number (RPN), where these are assessed and engineering judgment is used to determine if the risk is acceptable. Recommended acons are developed and reassessed to reduce the RPN with priority given to the highest RPN values and customer defined specific characteriscs. This process connues unl the risk level is acceptable. OVERVIEW OBJECTIVE Assists in considering the possible failure modes and their effect on the reliability and manufacturability of the product. Parcipant will be introduced to FMEA as tools to ancipate and prevent defect, which protects the client from receiving non-conforming product. LEARNING OUTCOME At the end of the training, parcipant will be able to: Analyse a design or process and idenfy the potenal failure mode and their effect. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis is a structured methodology used for risk prevenon and applicable to many industries.
