This is the very famous ‘Walt Disney’ company logo. It is easily recognisable by nearly all age groups. It has vibrant colours and glows your whole screen when it is opened or viewed. This makes it an effective logo as it brings joy once it is shown to viewers. That’s the power that the logo possesses when shown to the audience. It uses colours, which feel like you’re in a dream. It has a powerful glow even though it’s based at the night time. The font that is used is unique, rapidly identifiable and well-known. It displays a castle, which makes it appealing and adaptable for the young audience. This makes it a safe environment and also a family loving intention for the audience. The logo Is wisely created to adapt to the audience immediately. It has sparkles and shines all over the place, giving it a dream-like tone and creating a logo that is close to dreams as possible. Overall, this logo is very effective and was created powerfully to adapt to its audience. Although it is a beautiful logo, I wouldn’t be able to use this towards our company logo as it doesn’t contain any scary nature and doesn’t relate to our horror genre and audience.

This is the very popular ‘Universal’ company logo. This is well-known and simple yet very effective to the audience. Its bright, bold font makes it stand out and easily read. The name automatically fits in with the background and surroundings. They used the world and the galaxy to create a bright, warming logo that’s appealing. It is also sharp, making it look professional. When you see this logo, you can tell its going to be based on movies which are action packed, family orientated and funny. This company is known for one of the worlds best films and that’s what makes it recognisable. The colours that have been used are basic and bright, making it stand out. It’s also giving a message to the audience that it is aimed at everyone in the planet and universe, trying to make it appeal to all audience. This could assist in our research for our company logo as it has a dark outer base, making it seem quite dark and mysterious. As our genre is horror, this could help our logo look more alive and attractive for our target audience. Unlike ‘Walt Disney’, this logo seems more appropriate to aim towards.

This logo is the ‘Twisted Pictures’ company. It’s a company that specialises in horror genre films and it’s popular movie it’s been involved in was ‘Saw’. It consists of a simple logo that connects to its name. ‘Twisted pictures’ shows blooded, sharp barbed wires twisting around the letters. It is held down by a stomp in the middle that twists around the letters so tight that it could slice it. It is a violent asset used, which makes it automatically identified as a horror or thriller. This looks gory and scary. The colours are vibrant and dark, making it evil and appealing for the audience. Unlike the other two company logos, this directly uses its frightening atmosphere to keep the audience hooked to the logo. This would be a more appropriate approach to go towards as it is powerful in detail and specialises in the horror genre. This is due to how the logo aims towards torture, gore and suffering. Especially due to its involvement with the ‘Saw’ movies and how successful and popular they are.
