The FrontPanel SDK provides a common, proven, off-the-shelf platform for all your evaluation products, so you can deliver a consistent, reliable, and well-test- ed environment without supporting another internal, proprietary, non-revenue develop- ment effort. Furthermore, Opal Kelly FrontPanel soft- ware support is available on Windows, Mac OS X, QNX, and Linux operating systems and is positioned to evolve with these prod- ucts as new releases become available. With pre-built software and HDL, your end- customers will be up and running within minutes, analyzing waveforms and experi- menting with device features. Then, set them loose to develop their own HDL and software to fully exercise the device and integrate the features they need into their own prototypes and systems. Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA Utilizing the latest 7-Series FPGA from Xilinx, the Shuttle TX1 module is well-suited for medium to large FPGA designs includ- ing signal processing, microprocessor emulation, and general purpose hardware interfaces. The base model Shuttle TX1 module has a Kintex-7 FPGA with over 65,000 logic cells, 4,860 Kb of block RAM, six clock management tiles, and 240 dedicated DSP slices. The standard Shuttle TX1 module is fully compat- ible with Xilinx’s free ISE WebPack design tools, including VHDL and Verilog synthesis, so no additional costs are involved in getting started on your design. FMC (HPC) Carrier Despite its ultra-compact size, the Shuttle TX1 module is a full-fledged FMC carrier complete with the high pin-count (HPC) connector and multiple multi-gigabit trans- ceiver lanes. By designing your evaluation board for the standard FMC (VITA57), you can assure maximum compatibility and utility for your customers. JESD204B The Shuttle TX1 module is an ideal plat- form for evaluating data converter devices utilizing the JESD204B serial interface. With serveral channels of multi-gigabit se- rial interface, a standard FMC interface, a high-speed PC interface, a simple, effective, well-honed SDK, and 4Gb of memory, it’s hard to imagine a better fit!
