Zimpli KidsAt Zimpli Kids, we design, manufacture, market and supply some of the most unique and innovative children’s toy products on the market. As a young vibrant company, we are always striving to create fun new products that will safely enhance both children’s and parent’s experiences of playtime.

Social media marketing has played a major role in getting Zimpli Kids to the fantastic position we are in today - particularly on YouTube and Instagram. Our most popular products Gelli Baff and Slime Baff have clocked up over 7.5 BILLION views on YouTube from independent reviewers worldwide in just over4 years.

This viral success has translated into international brand awareness, outstanding sell through at retail and has secured distribution in over 50 countries across the globe.

In early 2017, Europe’s largest toy distributor, Simba Toys, became a major shareholder of Zimpli Kids.

Introduction

Manufacturing & SafetyThe first box of Gelli Baff was sold into the UK market in January 2007 and we are proud to say we have had the same initial selection available in multiple UK retailers now for over 10 years. In this 10+ year period, our worldwide sales are over 40 million units of Gelli Baff and 30 million units of Slime Baff, all using the exact same trusted patent protected formulation.

Our entire product range is skin safe, stain free, drain safe and easy clean! More importantly, after the 2018 investigations into dangerous levels of Boron in many Slime products, we are happy to confirm that our products do not contain boron, boric acid or any other boric acid derivatives. Zimpli Kids now manufacture 95%+ of our products in our company owned UK factory. We achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in 2018 and we were accredited with ISO 14001 in early 2020. ISO 14001 is the coveted environmental certification, awarded to companies who

prove they minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment, and comply with all applicable laws in regards to effective environmental management and sustainability.

Due to our UK manufacturing infrastructure, we can now manufacture and deliver bespoke orders in as little as a week. Zimpli Kids also offer same day dispatch for any mainland UK orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Social MediaDigital marketing has played a major role in getting Zimpli Kids to the fantastic position we’re in today. Social Media is now far more than just updating your followers on what you’re up to, or uploading a new video. It’s an interactive marketing tool. It gives you an insight on what’s happening in real time - What’s trending on Instagram? What’s the next big thing on YouTube? Quite simply, digital marketing is what Zimpli Kids do best!

We afford huge resource to our marketing team, which is now the largest department within our company. We work with literally thousands of social media contacts worldwide to ensure we continue to benefit from massive social media exposure across all platforms. We also work closely with our distributors, providing personal social media and marketing support, in order to share this success and increase brand awareness in their territories.

Eco-Range

Eco RangeZimpli Kids have been working hard on reducing our environmental impact, and we are proud to now offer an eco-friendly, bio-degradable product range! As with all our other products, they’re still 100% safe on skin, non-toxic and drain safe.

What we’ve doneRecyclable Box, Leaflet and Bags All the boxes, leaflets and bags in our Eco range are fully recyclable. Our new Eco range of products now have paper bags instead of plastic bags which can be recycled with the retail box & leaflet, in your standard paper/card recycling.

Certified Biodegradable Toy Gelli Baff and Slime Baff have both passed the Bio-degradation Test OECD 301B as tested by Intertek. Intertek are the largest & most respected tester of consumer goods in the world and they have a network of more than 1,000 laboratories across around 100 countries. The OECD 301B test adds a product to sewerage, and measures its rate of biodegradation. Our products are classed as biodegradable according to the standard. UK Manufactured Zimpli Kids now manufacture 95%+ of our products in our company owned UK factory. We achieved ISO 9001 accreditation last year and we have just been accredited

Packaging made from recycled board We have chosen to change all of our retail and CDU boxes to recycled board and have a plain white background on four of the sides of the box (reduces the ink used by 49%) to reduce our environmental impact.

Quality versus sustainabilityWe proudly manufacture to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards but we are aware that by changing our bags from plastic to paper & using recycled board, there is a minimal reduction in quality. It’s true our paper bags do not seal quite as reliably as plastic bags and our retail packaging may not be quite as shiny in recycled board as it would in new board, but we firmly believe this very nominal reduction in qualityis more than justified – We hope you do to.
