Smart technologyThe myGEKKO touch, the ‘smart’ part of the system, represents the core of the equipment. Commissioning, re-calibration, adjustment and extension – everything is set up directly at the myGEKKO Touch via intuitive user guidance.

When it comes to installation myGEKKO provides all possible in-terfaces to various installation and media bus systems. Regard-less of whether Modbus, myGEKKO, Enocean or KNX: The ideal cable connection depends on the conditions of the building and the users themselves. Push-buttons, sensors, lights, etc. can be used freely. The components are connected to the respec-tive modules or interfaces and via these to the myGEKKO Touch.

What is so great about myGEKKO?

With myGEKKO the landlord can set the system optimally ac-cording to his needs. New time clocks and scenarios can be created and changed very easily with just a few key strokes. The push-button, which controlled the blinds today, might be used to manage the sound or lighting system tomorrow.

In addition, the system properties can be modified at any time. If the exterior lighting has always been switched via a motion sensor, it is, for example, not a problem to control it via time clocks in the future.

A major advantage of myGEKKO is that the landlord can make the entire changes himself.

The myGEKKO Software is continuously being adapted and expanded to technological innovations. Updates of the system are available without charge to our customers in order that they are able to enjoy long-term benefits from the new developments of myGEKKO.

The system can be expanded almost indefinitely by new functions at any time and with only little effort thanks to its modular design. Build today and keep yourself open to all pos-sibilities in the future!

Private residences myGEKKO is optimally adapted to the features of residences and apartments. It takes over control of lights, roller shutters, heating as well as music and irrigation systems. The individual systems can be controlled and monitored via a neatly arranged surface. Settings and adjustments can be made easily by the landlord himself.

Elegant designThe white glass surface provides an elegant and unobtru-sive mounting on the wall and emphasises the timeless-ness and longevity of myGEKKO. The vertical front guar-antees an optimal view and quick operation function. Multi-Touch The display and the quick operation keys are equipped with capacity touch technology. This offers new possibili-ties for interaction with myGEKKO. Thus, operation gets more intuitive and easier. Sliding and scrolling are just some of the new touch technology’s areas of application.

Buttons - quick operation - keys with slide function9 quick operation keys, which on request can be dis-played in green, red or orange, are hidden underneath the white glass front. The luminosity as well as the func-tions of the quick operation keys can be assigned indi-

vidually. Quick access of the video camera, activation of the alarm system or display of energy values is possible with a single touch.

Warning and status indication via LEDsThe LEDs can also be used as warning indicators. Con-sequently, occurring alarms such as increased energy consumption, excessive temperature, lack of production of the PV system can be indicated by a flashing red LED. Not only alarms, but also general information can be dis-play with the LEDs, for example, if all windows are closed, one LED will light up green and if one window contact signals an open window, the LED will switch to orange. Hence, the resident can quickly check the windows’ status before leaving the house, and hence be reassured. This display can be defined for any function / information in the house.

Flush mounting: The flush mounted box is screwed to the mounting frame, then the thread screws are bolted to the display which is hooked into the mounting frame. The distance to the box can be varied by adjusting the thread screws on the screen. Never-theless, care should be taken during assembly in order that the box is mounted flush to the final rendering.

Cavity wall installation: The mounting frame is screwed to the plaster or wooden wall. The space required for the display is cut or drilled out. Sub-sequently, the display is hooked into the mounting frame by the use of the thread screws. The flush mounting frame is not required when mounting to a cavity wall.

The myGEKKO Compact is used preferably in technical equip-ment rooms for mounting in control cabinets. The high IP protection on the front panel protects the screen from damage and spills.

Ideal mounting height:The mounting height should be chosen according to the user’s eye level.

Software

myGEKKO PointTo unlock the software you need myGEKKO Points for any connection on the I/O modules and for any system extension. Information about how many myGEKKO points are required for the individual modules or extensions can be found in the detailed technical product description (starting on p. 25).

Pre-installed softwareThe software (App) is already installed on the myGEKKO Touch. Configuration settings and commissioning can be made di-rectly via the display. The landlord can personalise and adjust the user interface at any time.

Flexible for the futurePlan your house with myGEKKO not only for today, but opt for a system, which can be continuously adapted to new require-ments.The software can be updated without charge via USB flash drive. Furthermore, you can expand your system with new func-tions (e.g. SMS, music, web cameras, …) at any time. You need the appropriate myGEKKO Points for the expansion of the sys-tem. We reserve the right to charge a service fee for activation.

myGEKKO networkA specific amount of lights, roller shutters, individual room controls, … can be realised with any myGEKKO. Large projects are realised by linking several myGEKKOs. The software is designed in order that the linked myGEKKOs can be operated and managed as a homogenous unit.

Plug&PlaymyGEKKO is plug & play, just connect the system extension and it will work immediately. The necessary adjustments are already included in the software.

Several variationsFor customers and partners there are different software ver-sions available for download (e.g. living, emax, …) which can be uploaded to the myGEKKO touch free of charge at any time. myGEKKO Touch

The myGEKKO Web-App is supplied with the myGEKKO Touch and immediately available after entering the necessary security setting. The Web-App is available for all (!) myGEKKO models.

The Web-App is compatible with all Android phones and pads, iPhone and iPads.

All systems can be monitored and controlled directly. Adjust-ments on the myGEKKO Touch (e.g. adding of cameras) are transferred directly to the Web-App.

Remote control via VNC

With the use of VNC software the myGEKKO screen content can be visualised on a local computer / device. As a result, the myGEKKO can be operated as if one was sitting directly in front of it. VNC is platform independent.

With the myGEKKO Viewer you can control your myGEKKO comfortably via PC. The software is compatible with Win-dows.

After entering their user data employees can operate their work station individually. At their wish, they can adapt the heating, roller shutters, etc. according to their needs.

RIO modules

The ultra-compact combination module RIO-29 is a true all-rounder. From analog and digital IOs to various interfaces like M-Bus, RS232, RS485 – everything is united in the RIO-29. The RIO-29 module furthermore serves as bus coupler.

Topology:Up to 4 bus couplers can be connected to a myGEKKO Touch. (Bus line 1 to 4).Each bus can consist of a maximum of 16 modules and contain up to 6 RIO-29.

The ultra compact combination module RIO-16 is a true power module. With its 8 digital outputs with 230 VAC 16 A almost all loads in the house can be switched. The eight 24 VDC inputs serve to connect sensors, such as push-buttons or motion sensors.

Odd-/Even lock The odd/even lock protection is mainly used for the con-nection of venetian blinds motors. Via the protection the outputs 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 are mutually locked, in order that a simultaneous activation of the to outputs is avoided. The odd/even lock protection is also active in manual mode. Protection of the motors is hence guaranteed.

The digital outputs are primarily used for switching 24VDC loads. For switching 230/400V loads additional relays or power contactors (see accessories) may be used.

Hint: Direct connection of heating valve drives 24VDC per output (see accessories)

The relay outputs are used for switching loads like lights, venetian blinds and various devices. The floating 230V/16A contacts allow a direct connection of the loads.
