Norvitae AS is a Norwegian Pharmaceutical company working on development of a HIV-medicine that may also be effective on SARS-CoV-2.

In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic Norvitae is now also in the process of building production capacity in Norway for ICU-Ventilators, N95/FFP2 Respirator Masks and Surgical Masks.

“We shall restrain from pursuing maximum price and strive to sell our production capacity directly to governments, hospital and humanitarian aid organizations at prices competitive pre- and post Covid-19 Pandemic. We think production in Norway will be valuable to address the inherent Supply-chain risk from almost all manufacturing currently being in Asia.”

Norvitae has also used its extensive network in Asia to source Ventilators and reliable manufacturers of a variety of PPE and other medical equipment. Our sources have large production capacity, but in the current market delivery time for large volume will vary and changes in prices also occurs frequently. The most volatile is the price for ventilators. With prices changing on a daily basis.

Norvitaes business model is based on using chartered aircraft for delivery such that we can cut logistics cost and transit risk and deliver directly to the nearest airport.

This is why our focus is on delivery of large volume. Exclusively chartered planes will improve predictability for delivery.

To be accepted as new customer, the customer must accept that we use EY-Law for IDD and to secure KYC/AML documentation to accept transfer of funds. EY-Law will assist to verify Proof of Funds.For procurement offices representing state or federal government this may be unnescesary.

Terms and procedure: A binding sales agreement will be signed, supplemented

by formal Purchase Order. For procurement offices representing state or federal

government a PO will do.

Upon NCNDA agreement Norvitae will provide certificates from the actual

manufacturer. For delivery of smaller volume/value 100% pre-payment is required.

For large volume/value our procedure includes using EY-Law in an escrow variation

to ensure that funds transferred to our USD-account cannot be transferred without

EY-approval.

Transfer of funds to supplier will involve local representative from EY verifying that

goods are delivered to cargo terminal and approved for export. Funds will then be

transferred from NV (approved by EY) to seller.

KYC/AMLP r o o f o f f u n d s

LOGISTICS:

Norvitae focuses on large volume customers. Large volume presents opportunity to fill entire aircraft and will allow us to use chartered or own aircraft for point-to-point delivery to the airport most convenient for the customer.

When adequate capacity on 12 mth contract has been sold for mask production in Norway we will lease our own aircraft such that we take control also over this element of the supply-chain and ensure capability for overseas delivery on our own wings. Anywhere, anytime on time.

When Norvitae start its own production such masks will be made to comply with EN14683 for ‘Type II quality’ for CE certification. The masks will also meet the criteria for FDA approval.

Norvitae also have available Surgical Masks directly from manufacturers that have provided certificates, complete test report and who have accepted to be reviewed by EY-Law/EY-Forensic. For most we have also received video and inspected production sites to ensure that employees are adults and no child labour has been used.

2. we provide Surgical masks made according to EN-14683 with CE certification. (Some may have applied for FDA approval).

3. Meltblown PP is used as filter material with a fiber thickness of between 1 and 2 microns.

4. What we call ‘Consumer Grade’ is EN-14683, Type I masks.

5. Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) > 95%

6. What we call ‘Medical Grade’ is EN-14683, Type II masks, intended for use in hospitals.

When Norvitae starts its own production such respirator masks will be made to comply with EN149 for quality FFP2 or FFP3. We will seek CE certifications. The masks will also meet the NIOSH N95 criteria and we will seek for FDA approval.

RESPIRATOR MASKSF F P 2 , F F P 3 , N 9 5

Norvitae have thus far had on-and-off access to buy 3M 1860 masks. Availability and cost varies and sources needs careful verification. We will only start a process for sourcing upon Proof of existence meeting certain criteria. The provider will then also have to accept a process with IDD, KYC/AML verification by EY-Law/EY-forensic, and verification of authenticity of product. Only when these strict criteria are met will we sell to our customers. Transportation costs are also higher for 3M 1860 than other respirator masks due to 3Ms inefficient packing methods.

Norvitae also supply respirator masks from manufacturers in China. We mostly use 3 large Manufacturers making N95/FFP2 foldable respirator masks. They have presented all nescessary certificates, including complete test report for CE certification. These have a total capacity of around 1,5 mill pcs. per day.

Some also have FDA and NIOSH N95 certificates. We will receive and present such before selling on to customers. Capacity 400.000 per day.

How well a respirator fit is important, but the biggest difference lies in the quality of the mid-layer of the respirator masks. The meltblown PP filter material with a fiber thickness of between 1 and 2 microns determine the masks ability to block viruses and bacteria. We conduct strict physical examination of samples and have documented that the quality varies a lot among other manufacturers. Our manufacturers are carefully selected and approved before we conduct business.

Norvitae can deliver genuine, 3M Model 1860 respirator mask at very competitive prices. Minimum order quantity is normally 2 mill. pcs. Price includes cost, insurance and freight to any location. At these volumes we basically fill an entire aircraft and shipping costs and delivery times are reduced to a minimum.

In respect of healthcare personnel and first responders, Norvitae will only accept orders from the following category of customers:
